A sauce that is creamy in texture, but versatile in flavour and a real taste sensation. As a bonus, it&#8217;s full of goodness, because it&#8217;s nothing but vegetables and a dash of spices. It&#8217;s a sauce that&#8217;s perfect on top of pasta or as a dip for your favourite snacks.    Try it for yourself! <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Servings:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 3-4 diners<br \/>\n<\/span><b>Preparation time: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">30 minutes<br \/>\n<\/span><b>Difficulty: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Easy<br \/>\n<\/span><b>To prepare you will need: <\/b> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 red pepper <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 larger or two smaller eggplants <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">700 g tomatoes <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3 onions <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">12 garlic cloves (with peel)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">large handful of fresh basil <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1-2 teaspoons onion powder<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 teaspoon paprika powder  <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00bd teaspoon dried basil <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">salt, pepper (to taste) <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 tablespoon lemon juice <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 teaspoon of honey or maple syrup (to balance the flavours) <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How to make the sauce?<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wash and chop the vegetables and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Add the garlic cloves with the peel. If you can&#8217;t fit all the vegetables on one tray, use several. Roast the vegetables in the oven at 200\u00b0C for about 20 minutes.    <\/span><\/p>\n<p>When the vegetables are ready, set the garlic cloves aside to cool. You can already put the other vegetables in the blender. Then carefully peel the garlic cloves and add them to the blender.   <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Add the spices, fresh basil, lemon juice and maple syrup or honey.
